Community Gaming Report for 7-6
A fairly uneventful Holiday weekend in gaming for me, bad timing, a good single player campaign, and a baby with teething trouble do not contribute to a productive multiplayer gaming weekend. The good single player campaign is of course imFAMOUS, which is still fantastic, and one of the best games I have played on this system. I love the platforming, I have already played hours of the side missions, and I am delaying moving forward on the main story line, a sure sign for me that I don’t want the game to end.
Other than that, I wait stoically on the wall waiting for Battlefield 1943 to come out. Listening to a few other podcasts today has put me even more in the mood for it. Torgo, from the PS Nation podcast, a long time battlefield player, seems to be a little bit suspect of the entire enterprise. From the sounds of it, he is worried that it will be dumbed down, and turned into a paid DLC stake-horse for EA. I am not a long term Battlefield player, I really liked DICE’s take on the Bad Company, and I will pay for DLC if it is worthy, so Thursday cannot come soon enough. All this being said, I disagreed with him here, but if you have room for two Playstation podcasts in your life, make us your first, and the PS Nation Podcast your second, they have a great show.
