I hope this post finds all of you well. I am going to try to make this a regular feature on the site, but I thought since we are a gaming site, a semi-regular report of community gaming interactions might be appropriate. This week I have had a few run ins with our fellow community members, and some single play platforming action in imFAMOUS.
In terms of interactions with actual people this week, on Saturday evening I ended up in a Battlefield Bad Company squad with Ediddy, Austin, and Mr. Pyrite shooting it up and taking gold from a bunch of randoms. At some point in the fight the opposing team was joined by Mr. Joker88 himself, who was pretty pesky with an M2 Bradley IFV, before I shot him up with a rocket launcher, and ended the match. Joker, next time you are going to join our match shoot me a message and I will switch squads and join up with you man, nothing like shooting up my fellow hosts.
On Monday it was the same sh_t different day, more Battlefield this time with Ediddy and Mr. Pyrite. Ediddy was a big help with his undercharged headset, but that is not as much of a problem because the voice code is totally screwed up in that game. Still pretty fun though, and I got to friend requests out of the blue from players on the opposite team. In short, kill dudes, and you too can make friends.
Steve mentioned this on the cast last week, but this game is now cheap as hell, and it is turning into our go to game, so run, don't walk, and buy yourself a copy. It has a great single player campaign, shut up Austin, and the multiplayer is great fun. Better yet though, save your money and download Battlefield 1943, which will hopefully be out this week.
That is all, play some imFAMOUS, or play with your friends, those are your only options! That and you could listen to Tin Lizzy's Cowboy Song, an opus I am rediscovering on that always reliable Microsoft Zune. Have a good one.
