It's not high definition, it's Higher

Nathan Drake, what will you do next? We are now two extraordinary games into the series, but are you ready for something new? I for one feel like I am, not that I disliked either of the first two games, I thought they were great, and if you told me that Uncharted 3 was going to be more of the same, treasure hunting, Nazi referencing, and supernatural twisting, I would still buy my copy day one. However, would it be cool to see Nathan Drake harried across the world by angry leftists fed up with his crash bang thievery of priceless ethnic treasures, I think it would be. Could Drake be pursued Han Solo style by a criminal organization that financed an expedition gone wrong, he can’t go to the authorities, he can’t trust his friends, he is a man on the run, with no good choices left.

Well those are just my ideas, but what do you guys think? Are you ready for something more, and if so what are your ideas? By the same token, would you be in favor of just another adventure along the lines of what we have had so far, because as I have said, until Naughty Dog breaks this formula I am certainly ready for more. Tell us what you think, we might talk about on the cast next week, but it may just be forum fun. Hope everyone is having a good week so far, my report, time changes are hell on babies, and we are two reviews away from fifty, so we maybe giving the prize away on this week’s cast, stayed tuned.

i think naughty should hand over the reigns to lucasarts, so they can turn the franchise into a 'point and click' adventure.

lucasarts would then turn every level into the one where drake found himself in that mountain village; and all you could do was walk around slowly and greet people. except they would make it 2D. then once you have greeted the right person (or unlocked beast mode, look that up) you advance to the next level which is much the same, except on a nazi submarine or a deserted dig site...

See here is Naughty Dogs problem. I couldn't tell you what would make it better. But we all know it must be better and must be a bigger step up. Although I couldn't tell you what it is.

I agree Uncharted as a graphic adventure would be off the chain!

I'd like to see a Sully spin off. One where it involves travelling to exotic countries bedding exotic women. A bit like Leisure Suit Larry but with more class.

Space and perv 'em ups aside, I like your idea bsmith about Drake becoming a fugitive. I think if they did another game introducing new friends/love interests Drake might as well start up a facebook page.

Perhaps a death of a well known character could be a good catalyst for the next game. Whereby Drake questions his good guy tendencies and goes off the rails a little. I think he might be even more likeable as an anti-hero if done right.
