Discussion Topic for Episode 55 - Your Three Biggest Video Game Disappointments

A pretty simple one for this week, no big explanation involved, just give us your three biggest, or however many you can think of, video game disappointments. Did you bring MGS4 home and thought to yourself, ‘boy this plot could have been more nonsensical,’ did you pick up Final Fantasy and said, 'man these characters could have been more androgynous,’ or did you grab your first PSP and think, 'man I wish this thing had keyboard and mouse support.' Well now that I have succeeded at alienating half our audience, I think you have the idea. I look forward to everyone's contributions, and I don't think I have said this in the past, if you want your submission read on the show get us a response by Saturday afternoon. Have a great week, and now I am off to buy two video games.

wow first one on this topic....cool...i am really going to have to say the only gaming disappointments that I have is from the Atari 2600 days the old Pac-man where it went on forever...the old ET where the ending sucked and the old Raiders of the Lost Ark....god did that ending sucked...all with Prototype am having no problems with it all but it will be taking a back burner with Overlord 2 comes out....I love the first one and can't wait for this one...also can't wait for the DLC for Fallout 3.

Socom on ps3, my 360 was one of first red ring of death units (took 3 months to get another and it scratched my discs),I bought American idol for ps3 (wife wanted it)

Wow what a dead topic I guess...well I guess that I will have to put up a friends of mine too...he was one of the unlucky ones that bought a Vitrual Boy....man does he keep telling me why did I let him by that thing when I told him not to get it...Hope the next Topic is better

I'm dissapointed my mom threw away my atari 2600. She kept the adapter to play the 2600 games on the 7800 but I was still dissapointed.

No 2nd analog stick on playstation's portable devices. It doesn't make sense.

Dissapointed that I didn't get the playstation 2 when it came out. I feel like I missed out on something.

Socom on PS3 (glad I was in the beta), Resident Evil 5 (the AI is horrid) and really that's the only two I can think of right now.

Here is a question I have for you guys. Have they fixed Socom now? Is it worth playing if they have patched it?

From what I hear it works now. I think Austin says that it still has load times, but nothing like what the beta and launch was like. It is getting a new patch soon and some DLC I hear. link
